It's here! Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F

It's the main Netflix Original movie pick for July. Of course. Because Eddie Murphy's back in this iconic role almost 30 years after the release of the third movie, and 40 since the first.

The huge cast includes Taylour Paige, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, John Ashton, Kevin Bacon, Judge Reinhold, Bronson Pinchot, Paul Reiser, and ... moi.

I play a fashionable Beverly Hills denizen, Felicity:

who—with her dog Manolo:

becomes unwittingly embroiled in a sudden and terrifying gunfight (!) at Wilshire and Doheny.

Later that day I'm interviewed on the news. It's a small but tremendously fun role and I had a great time doing it.

I saw a cast & crew screening and I'm telling you, it's effing exciting. Genuinely hair-raising action, and also plenty funny and sweet. Australian director Mark Molloy has made his feature debut with audaciousness, panache and finesse. It's a wonderful time.
