Season Premiere of "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce" with Lisa Edelstein and Jean Smart

They were looking for a "media mogul" type. Moi? Turns out I fit the bill. It was a laugh riot working with these two amazing women. Lisa Edelstein is whip smart, kind and hilarious. Jean Smart is a legend who lives up to her reputation as well as her name - whip smart, kind and hilarious. Hmmm. A definite pattern here.

In the Season 2 opening episode I'm Helen, a chic party-giving Los Angeles mega-publisher who offers our heroine, Abby (AKA Lisa Edelstein), a fabulous new job. The shrewd, very witty dialogie was written by brilliant series creator Marti Noxon, and the episode was directed beautifully by Robert McNeill.

Because the series is shot principally in Canada, the Los Angeles segments of this opening episode were completed during the last week of production, so by the time I was cast they were just about to wrap the entire season. It promises to be a fantastic one - and since I fell in love with this show at first sight, I can hardly wait!
