An Ides of March double header

So I recently shot two fun comedy guest star roles, and as the scheduling gods would have it, they're both airing Friday, March 15th. What are the odds? First watch for me on ABC at 8 pm as Linda in a new episode of Fresh Off the Boat called "Rancho Contento" with the delightful and hilarious Constance Wu and Randall Park. and then ... switch to Fox, where you'll see me at 8:30 as rich bitch Edie on The Cool Kids (the episode is called "The Cool Kids Un-Retire") with comedy legends Martin Mull, Vicki Lawrence, David Alan Grier and Leslie Jordan. It was a riot to do both these shows, and I'm so pleased that they're on one after the other like this. Fun!

She made a headpiece out of a Pier 1 place mat? And a bunch of other things you probably didn't

Ruth Carter is fascinating. Check out this jaw dropping article in The Hollywood Reporter about the Oscar-winning costume designer. (The first black woman to win the Oscar for costume design did it for her amazing costumes for Black Panther.) Hey, here's an idea: a home Ruth Carter Film Festival. If you watch all the films she's designed costumes for (roughly 53, according to IMDb Pro) it'll take over a hundred hours and you'll be seeing a pretty incredible exhibition of some of the world's best filmmaking work, ever. I'm starting today, with Do the Right Thing.
